David has been a financial advisor with SGC Financial and Insurance Services in Sacramento, California for 26 years. He has been owner of the Sacramento branch office for six years. He is a member of NAIFA and MDRT, as well as a long standing associate of Vistage and a member of Entrepreneurs Organization (EO). David enjoyably supports his clients to develop a synergistic focus—one that may address cash flow awareness, net worth enhancement, asset accumulation, risk management, tax mitigation, estate planning, personal intentions, goals, and aspiration. David also works with business owners, to develop business plans and strategies, to include business successor plans, key executive benefits, and group benefits.
He has a passion for mountain climbing, which was awakened 27 years ago with a first unsuccessful climb of 14,162’ Mt. Shasta. Eleven subsequent climbs, along with summiting 17,000’-23,000’ peaks in Africa, Mexico, South America, and Alaska, as well as an annual practice of climbing the fifteen 14,000’ summits in California, are his expression of living life fully.
Community service is integral to David’s life balance, as he has been a former Head Sponsor for teenagers (14-18 yrs) in the Unity Church for eight years and a Board member for six years. David has been a founding parent and seven year Board member of the Camellia Waldorf School in Sacramento.
Family is an integral part of his life, including his wife of 27 years and three children—two girls, 33 & 37, and son, 29.
